Transportation Manager

24/7 Travel Stores is searching for a full-time transportation manager. The Transportation Manager is responsible for keeping our 24/7 Travel Store locations in fuel supply 365 days a year as safely and cost effectively as possible, and managing the people, equipment and compliance aspects required to transport liquid fuels. Core Responsibilities: Dispatching drivers and assigning loads to keep all retail fuel locations in supply Scheduling drivers in accordance with business and market demands Managing ELD compliance and safety systems Interviewing and hiring CDL drivers Monitoring the fuel market to optimize costs Monitoring weather across our network to keep our drivers and the public safe Managing CDL drivers and their performance Managing all Transport equipment: Trucks, trailers, hoses, etc. Understanding and managing FMCSA, KCC and DOT compliance Accounting for inventory and verifying deliveries are made accurately Requirements: Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements Experience with hauling liquid fuels Experience dispatching Competitive pay Safety and performance bonuses Low-cost BCBS health insurance Other benefits for full-time employees such as 401k and PTO.
