Admission Nurse

Admissions Nurse Join our team at Riverside Post Acute as an Admissions Nurse! Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. Job type: Full-time. Same Day Pay! Salary: $34–$36 per hour. Responsibilities Greet new admissions and families and answer any questions that may arise. Take patient's photo upon admission. Complete admission nursing documentation and assessments. Medication reconciliation. Review labs. Notify attending and consulting NPs/MDs of admission and obtain orders. Communicate any observations in change of patient's status to the nursing team. Work closely with the IDT. Attend family meetings with IDT when needed. Obtain POLST form and enter code status in chart. Prepare and send daily end‑of‑day email to recap to Administrator and DON highlighting the areas that are being addressed. Follow up on any issues with service delivery noted by patient, families, etc. Document actions by completing forms, reports, and logs as required by facility. Assist care team with pass trays, answering call bells, etc. Act as a problem solver to address resident or family issues or concerns. Embrace our person‑centered care approach to meet each patient's needs and preferences. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years in a related admissions or business development position within long‑term care or related healthcare setting. Previous health care community relations experience. Must have a strong sense of urgency, self‑motivation, and goal orientation. Ability to work flexible hours as admissions and marketing responsibilities may dictate.
