Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care through accurate documentation and adherence to policies.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans as needed.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN license (California)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week)
• Capacity to supervise nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
