Posted Job Title Clinical Research Coordinator B (Department of Obstetrics andGynecology) Job Profile Title Clinical Research Coordinator B Job Description Summary This position will assist in the management of research studies with responsibilities in the Division of UroGynecology. The incumbent will coordinate: detailed chart review, data extraction and the collection of clinical data from health records; and assist in other smaller related projects which may include consenting subjects, conducting participant visits and organizing meetings, etc. Additionally, the incumbent may assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) filings and inquiries, the preparation of manuscripts, grant proposals, and research related presentations. They will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Director of Research Operations, and study team to identify problems and develop solutions. They will be expected to implement approved changes to procedures as needed and monitor results. Finally, they may also be responsible for providing study coordination for investigator-initiated studies, multi-center research studies, and patient-oriented clinical and translational research projects as needed. Job Description Job Responsibilities Collection of study data per protocol. Abstracting data from electronic health records, inputting data into electronic CRFs indicated electronic data capture (EDC) systems and/or study databases Coordinating regulatory paperwork documents, record, and report adverse events, prepare study documents, including protocols, operational manuals consent forms, recruitment material, and data collection forms. Create and manage project-specific databases and surveys. Comply with Institutional policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines. Consenting participants and confirming eligibility in conjunction with Investigators. Oversee study activities of research assistants Act as a point person for the planning and implementation of studies Function with a greater level of independence and capacity than a CRC A Other duties and responsibilities as assigned *Position contingent upon continued funding* Qualifications Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Familiarity with EPIC and REDCap are preferred. Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $53,418.00 - $53,418.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
