If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!About the Role:As the Regional Laboratory Lead Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing various tests on materials used in the construction of North Carolina’s roads and bridges. You will become proficient in all tests that pertain to evaluating the quality of plant produced asphalt as well as aggregates that make up this asphalt, and other materials to ensure they meet NCDOT specifications. The successful candidate will have strong work-ethic standards with a technical background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate concepts to both technical and non-technical personnel. Must have the ability to lift samples and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
