PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Truck Drivers are responsible for doing daily inspection of truck and keeping up with miles. • Able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions • Complete work with accuracy and efficiency • Drive 18 wheeler to offsite • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures • On idle time or slow time will help in shipping department. • Ability to back up and pull trailers in/out of docksThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Minimum of two years’ experience in driving • Read/Write/Speak English • Knowledge of safe work practices • High School diploma or GED preferred • Shipping/Receiving Experience • Forklift Experience- company will certify if needed • Good communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to read measuring instruments • Valid CDL A licensePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Prolonged sitting • Must be able to frequently lift 40 - 50 lbs • Overtime is required, including some weekends • May be required to work a flexible scheduleCabinetworks group is an equal opportunity employer.
