About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for an 8-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Jul 27, 2026. This role involves administering general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 3 PM. The Anesthetist will collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize and implement anesthesia plans, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
