Customer Care Advocate

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing consumer e-commerce brand, for a Customer Care Advocate to join their fully remote support team. This is a chance to be the friendly, reliable voice customers count on when they reach out over chat, email, and phone, turning everyday questions and hiccups into moments that build real loyalty to the brand.

Day to day, you will move between conversations quickly, so the role suits someone who enjoys variety, stays calm under a steady stream of requests, and genuinely likes helping people. No prior experience is required, just strong listening skills, patience, and a problem-solving mindset. Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally across chat, email, and phone
• Troubleshoot order, shipping, billing, and product issues with a solutions-first approach
• De-escalate frustrated customers with empathy and patience
• Document every interaction accurately in the CRM system
• Meet daily and weekly targets for response time and resolution quality
• Identify recurring customer pain points and flag trends to leadership
• Guide customers through returns, exchanges, and account updates
• Collaborate with teammates during peak volume periods to keep queues moving
• Follow brand voice and tone guidelines in every customer interaction
• Stay current on product updates, promotions, and policy changes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No prior customer service experience necessary, training provided
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable multitasking across chat, email, and phone in a fast-paced queue
• Strong empathy and active listening skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace
• Ability to work a scheduled shift including some evenings or weekends
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to help people solve problems
