Location 1950 McCormick, Buena Vista, CO, 81211, United States Base Pay $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 / Year Employee Type Exempt Email View email address on click.appcast.io Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports the Director of Human Resources in the administration and execution of Fading West's human resources programs and initiatives. This position oversees day-to-day HR operations, provides guidance to employees and managers, ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies, and assists with strategic HR initiatives as needed. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters. Conduct workplace investigations. Coach supervisors on employee relations and corrective action. Resolve employee concerns and performance issues. Complete phone screens on applicants. Prepare offer letters. Coordinate onboarding and orientation. Complete I-9 and E-Verify requirements. Assist with performance improvement plans. Ensure compliance with employment laws. Assist with payroll and timekeeping as needed. Process compensation changes. Prepare HR reports. Support employee engagement. Assist with special HR projects. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2‑3 years of progressive HR experience preferred. Experience with payroll, benefits, employee relations, and employment law. Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and HRIS/Microsoft Office skills. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; travel between company locations as needed. Working Conditions Office environment with regular interaction in a manufacturing facility. PPE may be required when entering production areas.
