Role Overview The Registered Nurse practices independently within a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care while demonstrating awareness of various situational factors. They delegate tasks appropriately to manage clinical situations effectively. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation to deliver patient care. Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor effects, and document all care activities. They also assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. Qualifications & Skills Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing; minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience. Must hold an active RN license, BLS certification, and, if applicable, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Newly hired nurses undergo orientation and competency validation, with ongoing annual requirements. Experience in acute care and specialized certifications within designated grace periods are preferred. Additional Details This part-time role offers multiple shifts, requiring adherence to certification timelines and participation in onboarding programs.
