Join Our Team as a Compassionate Hygienist – Full-Time Roles! The Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing preventive dental care to patients, promoting good oral health practices, and assisting the dentist in delivering comprehensive dental treatments. They will work closely with patients to clean teeth, examine oral health, and educate on maintaining proper oral hygiene. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Licensed dental hygienist Job Description Patient Care: Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement of teeth.

• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to teeth.
• Chart and record patient’s medical and dental history.
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and other diagnostic tests.
• Take impressions for dental appliances and molds.

Education and Preventive Care:

• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene techniques.
• Provide nutritional counseling and advice on how diet affects oral health.
• Discuss the importance of regular dental visits for long-term oral health.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
• Assist in managing patient appointments, reminders, and follow-ups.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to infection control standards and safety protocols. Maintain sterilization of dental equipment and instruments. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
