Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities

  • Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases, including but not limited to:
    • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
    • Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
    • Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
    • Ascending Aortic Aneurysms
    • Aortic Root Replacements
    • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
    • Femoral-Popliteal Bypass
    • Carotid Endarterectomy
    • AV Fistula
    • Impella Placement
    • Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Cases
    • Thoracotomy
    • Ventricular Assist Devices
    • Robotic Thoracotomy
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 in the operating room.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Shift Information

Shifts are scheduled during the day, from 06:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Indiana.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a cardiovascular surgery setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Cerner.

Unit Information

The operating room consists of 4 suites, equipped for advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. Scrubs are provided by the facility.

This position is located in Indiana.
