Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Oracle Infrastructure & Cloud Migration Consultant to support enterprise Oracle database, middleware, and cloud modernization initiatives within a federal government environment. The role will focus on Oracle infrastructure operations, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration, database administration, security integration, automation, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise Oracle database and middleware environments, including Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, WebLogic, OAM, OID, OHS, OEM, and related platforms.
• Perform Oracle database administration, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Support migration of on-premises Oracle workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including database migration, hybrid cloud integration, and cloud operations.
• Configure and support Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) environments.
• Perform security integration activities including PIV authentication, ICAM federation, vulnerability remediation, and CIS benchmark implementation.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tools using SQL, Python, WLST, Shell, Perl, and PHP.
• Implement monitoring, reporting, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities for government stakeholders.
• Support technical transition activities and maintain operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Tier 4 High Risk Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification required; Oracle Certified Master (OCM) preferred.
• Strong experience supporting Oracle enterprise environments, including:
• Oracle Database Administration and RAC
• Oracle Middleware technologies
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Database migration and cloud modernization
• Performance tuning, patching, and security hardening
• Experience with automation scripting and enterprise application support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal government IT experience.
• Experience with Oracle OCI migration tools such as Zero Downtime Migration, Data Pump, or GoldenGate.
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Database, ICAM integration, and federal cybersecurity standards (NIST/CIS).

Work Location

• Primary location : Washington, DC Federal Government facility.
• Position requires onsite support and compliance with federal security requirements.
