About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chair for its Department of Family Medicine to provide strategic and operational leadership for a multi-site family medicine practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of a long-term strategic plan aimed at delivering high-quality, accessible primary care, and improving patient outcomes, experience, and operational efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with clinical, administrative, and nursing leaders to align priorities, optimize care delivery across regions, and ensure consistent standards of care. The Chair will also oversee day-to-day operations, resource planning, financial performance, and lead physician recruitment, mentoring, and team development to foster a collaborative and engaged culture. Candidates for the Chair position should hold an MD or DO and be board-certified in Family Medicine, with a strong background in leadership within academic medicine or community-based healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team building, care delivery improvement, and leading strategic initiatives. Essential skills include strong communication, collaboration, and leadership, as well as experience in managing clinical operations, supporting physician development, and driving performance in a multi-site environment. The role also involves supporting the growth of research and education programs, strengthening partnerships, and advancing new care models in primary care, including coordinating efforts with other departments and ensuring effective communication across leadership and clinical teams.
