J ob Dutie s :

• Based on pre-determined locations, puts stockroom inventory away in the proper location.

• Fulfills sales orders for purchased parts and hardware by pulling the material and staging it for Shipping.

• Builds kits from stocked parts and purchased components.

• Verify material on picking slip matches related blueprints.

• Based on Stockroom Standards, performs additional checks on certain items (e.g. sprockets, motors, gearboxes, etc.).

• Receives compliant material into M1.

• Initiates the NCR process when material does not conform to specs by completing the NCR entry.

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Reports defective tools and equipment.

• Manages work center queues to provide all purchased and stock components to relative departments, locations, or jobs.

• Performs cycle counts of all inventory stock levels.

• Complies with all safety rules and regulations.

Minimum Education :

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience :

• One year forklift experience

• One year overhead crane experience

• Two years of stockroom experience, preferably in an industrial environment

Minimum Skill Requirements :

• Proven ability to read a tape measure

• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Ability to prioritize, organize and state material

• PC proficiency sufficient to enter data into ERP system and use MS Office to create and edit documents

Physical Requirements :

Employee is frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, stand, talk, heat and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to see with corrected vision to nearly 20/20 or better.
