We’re adding multiple Precision Turned-Parts Machinists in Tonawanda, NY—immediately.

Is this you?

• Have you spent 3+ years setting up and running CNC lathes?
• Do you edit programs at the control with Fanuc or write/read G/M code confidently?
• Can you read blueprints, apply GD&T, and verify parts with micrometers and indicators?
• Are you comfortable calculating feeds/speeds and converting between metric and imperial?

You Will

• Set up, operate, and dial-in CNC lathes to hold tight tolerances and meet surface finish specs.
• Edit programs on the floor (Fanuc, G/M code) to improve cycle time and quality.
• Inspect using bore gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators; perform advanced gauge measurement.
• Interpret engineering drawings with GD&T to plan machining steps and in-process checks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and fixturing issues; perform basic maintenance.
• Transfer files and manage programs using basic computer skills.

Parts You’ll Machine

Hydraulic cylinders, shafts, rods, tubes, pistons, bushings, and similar precision-turned components.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation.
• Fanuc control familiarity or G/M code editing experience.
• Blueprint reading with GD&T proficiency.
• Comfort with micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.

Nice to Have

• Experience machining hydraulic-related components (cylinders, rods, pistons, etc.).

Tech You’ll Run

• CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis)

Proficiencies: GD&T, CNC Programming, G-Code, M-Code, CNC Machine Setup & Changeover, Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement.
