Exciting Opportunity in Labor & Delivery Job Description - Location: Dickson, TN - Unit Name: Women’s Services - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Cost Center: 660 Unit Specifics: - Number of Beds: - LDRP: 9 beds - OBED: 1 bed - NICU: 4 beds - OR suite: 1 - Patient Ratios: - 1:1 for active labors, inductions, C-sections - Couple care: 1:3 - Newborns: 1:1 until stable - NICU: 1:3 intermediate care (2 NICU nurses must be present if required) - Unit Staffing Description: - No techs or unit secretaries on staff - Type of Equipment: - CPN Central monitoring - IV pumps - Infant warmers - Tele-med robot for neonatologist - Bili-blankets - PCA pumps - Documentation System: - Meditech and CPN - Scheduling Requirements: - Full-time: 3 shifts per week - Rotating weekends and holidays - PRN shifts to complete staffing needs - Floating Policy: - Regular staff expected to float within the facility as needed - Some staff cross-trained to float between LDRP & NICU - Patient Experience Requirements: - Daily rounding on all patients - SAFETY rounding Hiring Profile - Requested Skill Set: - Must have Labor and Delivery experience; capable of labor, delivery, and recovery - Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies preferred - Advanced Skills Needed: - Fetal monitoring education - Experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil) - Procedures Performed: - C-sections - Circumcisions - Intra-uterine monitoring - Vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries - Certifications Required: - BLS - NRP - Fetal Monitoring training - Dress Code: - Pink and/or brown scrubs required for infant security Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
