Business Development Client Service Specialist

Job Description:

Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking to add a Business Development Client Service Specialist to our team.

This position will work primarily on site at our Bacchus Landing Office in Healdsburg, with the exception of working at our Geyserville office twice a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Provide exceptional client support via various communication channels (phone, email, chat) to resolve inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and address concerns promptly and effectively.
•  Utilize expertise in Excel, Netsuite, Salesforce and other relevant technologies to assist the internal team and clients with project and data-related queries, reports, and technical concerns.
•  Maintain a deep understanding of our products/services to accurately guide clients through project completion and problem resolutions.
•  Work collaboratively with our Business Development team to tackle complex client challenges, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
•  Keep meticulous records of client interactions to build a knowledge base that supports continuous improvement.
•  Contribute to the improvement of our products, services, and support processes by identifying trends and patterns in client inquiries.
•  Assist BD team with all customer supporting activities, including trade shows, tastings, marketing activities and sales efforts.
•  Assist BD team with administrative functions such as billing requests to Accounting, customer communications, client management and salesforce management.
•  Sample Management: tracking, inventory and shipping.
•  Backup for all incoming company communications.
•  Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) and strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
•  Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach and the ability to convey project information timelines in a timely manner.
•  Proven track record in providing outstanding customer support, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•  Innate problem-solving skills, with a flexible approach to meeting the diverse needs of clients and colleagues.
•  Experience in a client-facing role or customer support environment is preferred.

This role's compensation is anticipated to fit within the stated range. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend on numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate skills, knowledge, and education.
