Staff Accountant

A Leading Consumer Products Company located in Parsippany, NJ is searching for an Accountant who will have the following responsibilities: Record and maintain financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Perform P&L analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, files, and documentation. Support accounts payable and receivable operations, including invoice coding and payment tracking. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and corporate accounting policies. Provide documentation and respond to inquiries during internal and external audits. Qualified candidates for the Staff Accountant role should possess: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. 4+ years of experience. The total compensation range for this opportunity is $75,000 to $80,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
