Remote Litigation Paralegal

Scion Staffing is leading the search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal on behalf of a sophisticated, nationally recognized plaintiff-side class action law firm . This is a direct-hire, fully remote opportunity, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones .



Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and electronically file pleadings and other legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, docketing, and case schedules.
• Maintain and organize electronic case files and litigation documents.
• Support attorneys throughout all phases of complex litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Coordinate filings and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and procedures.
• Communicate with courts, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Manage multiple active matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Provide general litigation and administrative support to a busy team of attorneys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with electronic filing in both state and federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, calendaring, and deadline management.
• Plaintiff-side litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Class action litigation experience is highly preferred, including hands-on experience with class action filings.
• Experience supporting complex plaintiff litigation, such as consumer class actions, employment class actions, mass torts, antitrust, securities litigation, and/or privacy & data breach litigation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000 base salary with anticipated earnings equaling $100,000 after bonuses.
