This person will establish work measurement programs, analyze labor utilization, and develop standards. Additionally, the Gateway Industrial Engineer Manager will lead their industrial engineering teams and contribute to budgets and forecasts.Key Responsibilities:Manage and develop engineers within the areaForecast facility, vehicle, staffing and/or material handling equipment needs to improve cost, utilization, service, and efficienciesEstablish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop standards for labor utilizationRecommend and implement process improvements to optimize the utilization of product facilities, equipment, and personnelEvaluate and redesign job responsibilities and workflow to improve operational efficiency and productivityTranslates corporate strategy into operational initiatives and drives implementation within the assigned area.Skills & Qualifications:BS/BA in Engineering8+ years’ experience in related field required10 – 15 years of increasingly diverse or complex applications in field or expertise OR MS/MA preferredSix Sigma Green Belt requiredProfessional certification required in some areas.Employee Benefits & IncentivesDHL Express benefits and incentive offerings are designed to reflect a substantial experience for both employees and their dependents during their career and life journey.
