General Laborer – Manufacturing

Location: Hastings, MI

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift Available

Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience - Growth Opportunities, and consistent raises!

Join Our Manufacturing Team!

We are looking for a dependable General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build experience in a manufacturing environment. No prior manufacturing experience is required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general labor and production tasks throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Assist machine operators with material handling and production activities.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assemble, package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools as needed.
• Move materials throughout the facility using carts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment.
• Maintain accurate production counts and complete basic production paperwork.
• Keep workstations and production areas clean and organized.
• Assist with machine changeovers, line cleanup, and general production support.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality requirements.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Report equipment problems, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and other physical tasks as required.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
