As a therapy professional, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve functional improvements and enhance their quality of life in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Position Overview: Occupational Therapist (OT)The Occupational Therapist will deliver direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients referred by physicians, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Engagement in community health initiatives/projects as appropriate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
- Ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and support departments
- Knowledgeable about practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information
- Understand and adhere to company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance
- Exhibit integrity and professionalism by following the organization's Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training
- Oversee and evaluate care provided by Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), Rehabilitation Aides, and students
- Utilize therapy software accurately and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently
