What You'll Be Engaged In

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and ordering relevant diagnostic tests while crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and their families focused on prevention, wellness, and ongoing disease management

Education Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
