Job Description:


- Exciting opportunity for Level III NICU Nurses
- 12-hour Day/Night Shift Rotation (3 x 12s)
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
- On-call responsibilities required

Essential Qualifications:


- Current RN License to practice in your state
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
- Certified in STABLE, NRP, and BLS

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional care to neonates ranging from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months old
- Respond to neonatal emergencies, delivering immediate assessment and care
- Attend all C-sections and high-risk deliveries
- Treat conditions such as:
- Extreme prematurity
- Respiratory distress syndrome
- Sepsis
- Hypoglycemia
- Congenital anomalies
- Seizures
- Meconium aspiration syndrome

Services Provided:


- Non-invasive nasal CPAP and mechanical ventilation, including High Frequency Oscillation
- Nitric oxide inhalation therapy
- Assist with bedside procedures such as:
- Peripheral IV insertion
- Septic workups
- Intubations
- Percutaneous catheter insertions
- Parenteral therapy
- Blood administration and bronchopulmonary hygiene
- Medication administration and vital sign monitoring
- Parent teaching
