GENERAL OVERVIEW

Provides professional nursing care to patients through the nursing process; responsible for the assigned educational components. Essential Responsibilities Implements staff training, educational programs, and other AHNCI initiatives. (25%) Serves as clinical liaison for QI/EBP initiatives, regulatory preparation, and EMR facilitation. (25%) Precepts new hires to the AHNCI. (25%) Provides expert direct nursing care to complex patients. (10%) Contributes to the achievements of departmental, divisional, and organizational goals. (5%) Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with collaborative feedback to clinical services. (5%) Other duties as assigned. (5%) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor's degree Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) CPR certification 3 years of assigned clinical specialty area experience 3 years of computer experience Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing Education Nursing specialty certification 3 years of education experience The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
