Customer Service Representative – Staffing & Recruiting

Express Employment Professionals | Richmond, VA

Pay: $20–$25 per hour | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Express Employment Professionals is looking for an outstanding Customer Service Representative to join our Richmond staffing team.

This isn't an ordinary customer service job. You'll play an important role in connecting people with employment opportunities, supporting local businesses, and keeping our staffing operation running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver an outstanding experience to every applicant, employee, and client who calls or visits our office.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to questions, and provide prompt, professional service.
• Assist job seekers with applications, interviews, onboarding, and employment paperwork.
• Work closely with recruiters to coordinate interviews, job assignments, and employee start dates.
• Communicate with employees regarding schedules, attendance, job openings, and assignment updates.
• Maintain accurate records in our staffing and applicant tracking systems.
• Help resolve employee and customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Follow up with candidates and employees to ensure they have the information needed to succeed.
• Support daily office operations and help the team meet recruiting and customer service goals.

• Previous customer service, administrative, staffing, or recruiting experience preferred.

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to following through.
• Able to remain positive and professional under pressure.
• Comfortable working with people from different backgrounds and experience levels.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus!
