This professional staff position will have an impact on improving patient satisfaction by providing the best possible massage therapy sessions to individuals to meet their needs, on an outpatient basis.Qualifications:Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and Massage Therapy CertificateExperience:Required: At least one year in pregnancy massage and/or massage for cancer patients, as well as Swedish, deep tissue/trigger point massage, and sports massagePreferred: Craniosacral, reflexology, myofascial, hot stone and/or Reiki experienceOther Skills/Knowledge :For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital teamRequirements:Required: Massachusetts Massage Therapy LicensePreferred: National Certification Board for Therapeutic and Bodywork (NCTMB)Reporting Relationships:Reports to the Admin Director of OperationsNot responsible for supervising the work of othersJob Functions:Consistent with the WE CARE principles and inherent in a hospital environment, employees must be flexible in meeting patients' and the Hospital's needs.
