Youth Clinician ( License - Eligible )

The NEW Achievement Center will partner with Probation and community stakeholders to support at-risk youth through skill development, vocational training, career exploration, educational achievement, community linkage, and the development of positive interpersonal skills. Hours will be M-F, 11-7 pm. Hourly rate: $32-36/hour depending on clinical hours, experience and language abilities This new program will serve South Bay youth and collaborate closely with local high schools, community organizations, and businesses to actively engage, motivate, and inspire participants. The Clinicians will support the development, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the Achievement Center, ensuring high-quality services and positive outcomes for youth. Conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans as appropriate. Providing individual therapy and family therapy to youth and their immediate family members, as needed. Facilitating therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions based on the needs, interests, and goals of participating youth. Delivering services in person at the Achievement Center, youth residences, and other agreed-upon community locations when appropriate. Maintaining clinical documentation and treatment records in accordance with professional and organizational standards. Providing crisis intervention, de-escalation, and risk assessment services as needed. Supporting youth and families experiencing behavioral, emotional, or mental health challenges. Offering coaching, consultation, and training to team members regarding behavioral health, crisis response, and trauma-informed practices. Working flexible schedules, including evenings or other nontraditional hours, to meet the needs of youth and families. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field. At least one (1) year of experience working directly with at-risk youth and families. Licensed or license-eligible to provide mental health services to youth and their immediate families.
