Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Northampton, Massachusetts. These positions are 31-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Location: Northampton, Massachusetts

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 31-week assignment with the potential for extension.

Pay Rate: $322 - $346/hr

Responsibilities for an Anesthesiologist:

• Work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month

• Practice independently without supervision, assigned to the OR or Endoscopy suite

• Perform anesthesia services for general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases

• Apply regional anesthesia skills (strongly preferred)

• Manage 16-20 endoscopy cases per day when assigned to the Endoscopy unit

• Perform peripheral nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks, and various other block types

• Provide anesthesia care for adult and healthy pediatric patient populations

• Utilize Epic EMR/charting system for accurate and timely documentation

• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Maintain board certification (ABA or eligible)

• Maintain a valid Massachusetts state license and Massachusetts DEA registration

• Have a minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
