Maintenance Technician

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Special Requirements DRUG TESTING: All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug testing; individual in this position will be subject to random drug & alcohol testing.
Miscellaneous Information Days & Hours: Monday-Friday ~ 7:00AM - 3:30PM Overtime and On-Call available
- Troubleshoots and repairs control panels.
- Repairs and replaces pumps (two to 300 horsepower).
- Performs preventive maintenance on pump stations and station equipment.
- Meets with the public and explains problems, procedures, etc.
- Performs required mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting to correct any malfunctioning component.
- Prepares adequate written reports.
- Communicates on two-way radio.
- Responds to calls for emergency repairs outside of normal working hours.
- Performs on-call duties as assigned.
- Works overtime when required.
- Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
