Job Description & Requirements Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapist for a travel job in Petoskey, Michigan. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours Per Week: 40 Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Help residents recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and provide restorative and skilled therapy services at a skilled nursing facility. Support resident mobility, independence, and quality of life while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Michigan Physical Therapy license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC. Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care settings preferred. Experience providing restorative nursing therapy and skilled PT services, including gait training, therapeutic exercises, transfer training, and use of standard SNF equipment. Ability to complete documentation according to facility and regulatory standards. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility Shift Name: Days Shift Details: 08:30–16:30 Typical Workweek: 5 days per week, 8‑hour shifts Assignment Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week Candidates must be able to work in a long‑term care environment and may be expected to coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
