MKSA/KULA provides Early Intervention Day Treatment and therapy services to children with developmental delays, disabilities, behavioral needs, and medical needs. We typically serve children from birth through kindergarten and may expand services to elementary-aged children during the summer.

Our collaborative team includes behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, teachers, teaching assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and other professionals. Together, we partner with families to provide individualized, patient-centered care that supports the whole child.

The BCBA develops and oversees individualized, evidence-based behavioral services designed to help children strengthen communication, social, adaptive, and learning skills. This position works closely with children, families, technicians, and members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to promote positive outcomes.

• Conduct behavioral assessments and use clinical findings to identify each child's individual needs

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior treatment plans

• Establish measurable goals and evaluate progress using objective data

• Modify treatment strategies based on each child's progress and changing needs

• Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to Registered Behavior Technicians and other assigned team members

• Train staff and caregivers on behavioral strategies and treatment-plan implementation

• Collaborate with families, therapists, teachers, nurses, and other professionals

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

• Participate in treatment-team meetings and communicate recommendations clearly

• Promote ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based behavior-analytic practices

• Maintain professional certification and Arkansas licensure through required continuing education

• Serve as a knowledgeable and supportive clinical resource for staff and families

Education, Certification, and Licensure

• Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field

• Completion of required graduate-level coursework in behavior analysis

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

• Current license or eligibility to practice as a behavior analyst in Arkansas

Experience

• One year of experience in a similar position is preferred

• Newly certified BCBAs with strong clinical preparation, motivation, and a passion for serving children are encouraged to apply

• Pediatric or early-intervention experience is a plus

• Apply sound judgment when following written, verbal, or visual instructions

• Approach challenges with creativity, patience, and a solutions-focused mindset
