Job Responsibilities

• Develop Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' unique needs and formulate personalized therapy plans that help them achieve their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Leverage proven practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses for comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and families regarding therapy techniques that support ongoing progress at home
• Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Regularly evaluate clinical outcomes and adjust treatment as necessary, ensuring patients stay engaged in their rehabilitation journey

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
