Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This high-priority role involves comprehensive clinic coverage, inpatient rounding on antepartum patients, and ultrasound interpretation across three hospitals. The physician will manage a high-acuity patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.Practice InfoFull inpatient antepartum and outpatient high-risk OB clinic coverageOutpatient clinic averages approximately 20 patients per session, 3 sessions per week, with 2 additional providers sharing the patient panel (approximately 6 patients per provider)High-acuity patient population including diabetes, hypertension, fetal growth restriction (FGR), advanced maternal age (AMA), and obesityNo labor and delivery coverageResponsibilitiesProvide full-scope clinic coverage, inpatient rounding on antepartum patients, ultrasound interpretation, and possible night/weekend phone coverage as needed for 3 hospitalsProvide comprehensive consultations for high-risk pregnancies, including maternal and fetal complicationsPerform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds, fetal echocardiography (if applicable), Doppler studies, and prenatal diagnostic proceduresWork collaboratively with residents, APPs, and attending physiciansRounding on inpatient admissions, including daily notes, management plans, review of hospitalization events, and consultation with additional services as neededProvide eConsults for clinical questions and management issues as requestedPerform first-, second-, and third-trimester ultrasounds (2nd trimester and later; no GYN)Supervise and teach residents, fellows (if applicable), medical students, and sonographersBenefitsTop-rated malpractice insuranceFull-service in-house travel agency and credentialing coordinators24/7 recruiter availabilityShift & SchedulePossible night/weekend phone coverage as neededRequirementsNeed an MFM physician
