As a Security Officer Screener in Pooler, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and deliver strong customer service and communication. In this visible role, you will help identify concerns, support smooth site operations, and contribute to a caring team culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activity, deliveries, and/or irregularities in required logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to screening areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other designated locations as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
