Certified HVAC TechnicianThe Certified HVAC Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, calibrations, overhaul, service and repair for HVAC systems in the facility.Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:Reads blueprints, interprets Manufacturers' specifications, written and verbal instructions for the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems.Maintains an awareness of the sensitive and critical uses for the HVAC system being worked on.Performs preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and ventilation systems to maintain air at a specified temperature and humidity. Work orders are completed promptly and accurately.Responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, lubricating and repairing or replacing components as necessary.Maintains records to ensure compliance with local, state, federal and accrediting organization regulations and standards.Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.Maintains equipment inventory, submit requisitions, and communicate with vendors and contractors as required.Operates and maintains facility HVAC systems and equipment, to include but not limited to: AHU's, fan coil units, split systems, humidifiers, exhaust fans, VAV boxes, DX units, Liebert units, and all associated equipment and controls.Job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and may be subject to change with or without notice. Staff are expected to perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.2 plus years of technical training in air conditioning systems or equal to HVAC certification from an accredited school.2 plus years of experience in maintenance, repair and installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and associated components in a commercial setting.Universal certification for refrigerant recovery (EPA).Preferred Qualifications:None.Location Address: 1500 S.
