Production Technician

Virginia St. Reno, NV 89502 Responsible for actively processing, packaging, or assembling parts by hand, often using hand tools and manual or automated machinery. Adheres to safety protocols and company procedures to meet established quality and production standards. While supporting team goals, work may be performed independently or collaboratively. This role offers opportunities to gain experience in reading technical drawings, performing computer-based transactions, and collecting production data. Following standardized work instructions is essential to ensure an efficient workflow, maintain high product quality, and promote a safe working environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Cooperates with Manager, Lead and co-workers, toward meeting company goals. Displays a willingness to follow direction and be flexible when assigned varying jobs. Will work alone and in a team environment with changing assignments. Performs repetitive tasks using hand tools, manual techniques, or automated machinery. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: processing, cleaning, deburring, assembling, fixturing, counting, prime/paint, bagging and boxing various types of parts. Reports immediately any machine or process challenges and all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a Lead or Manager. Demonstrated working knowledge of applicable part numbers, materials and processes. Accurately reads and interprets technical drawings and work orders. Utilizes basic computer skills to fulfill work order requirements an verify count operations. Other duties as requested, directed or assigned including being re-assigned to other work areas calling for these skills. Report immediately any machine or process challenges and all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor. Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas. Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to gain and demonstrate the following competencies: Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Maintains uninterrupted focus on duties for periods of up to four hours. After training, performs tasks from memory, written instructions and visual aids. Correctly selects and accurately uses measuring and assembly tools following training. Applies acquired knowledge to support accurate and efficient operation setups. Provides assistance to team members with their assignments when directed. Must be able to perform basic math, including but not limited to addition, subtraction, division, fractions and metric conversions. Applies knowledge of general safety and organization (6S), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) requirements. Applies knowledge of Quality and Environment Management System (QEMS). Must have a good command of the English language relative to the work responsibilities, both written and verbal. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) required. Regularly required to sit or stand for the length of shift, bend and reach. Able to hear typical verbal instructions and common mechanical noises indicative of safe practices.
