Architect Technician II

Position Overview This position will research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for our clients. We work with a variety of clients to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable spaces across healthcare, education, civic, mixed‑use, commercial, residential, and more. Candidates should have a background in architecture, technical expertise using Revit and Bluebeam, and experience applying building codes, building systems, and construction documentation from conceptual through construction administration. Essential Functions Serve as a trusted client liaison with excellent listening skills and the ability to translate clients’ needs into design solutions. Interface with project managers, project teams, consultants, and clients. Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi‑discipline design teams. Conduct site planning and zoning research. Provide code review and analysis for projects. Create detailed plans for complex architectural construction drawings. Use Revit to develop project designs, plans, and technical solutions. Use Bluebeam for the drawing review process. Prepare and coordinate bid packages. Consult with consultants to ensure fully coordinated drawing packages. Perform construction administration tasks, including submittal review, fieldwork, and documentation. Maintain and comply with company and client project standards. Coordinate with QA/QC team to ensure quality and completeness of work. Experience Five (5) or more years of related work experience in architecture. Proficient in using Revit to produce high‑quality documents. Experience working in Bluebeam to develop and detail construction documents. Commitment to and experience with sustainable design. Architectural license preferred or equivalent work experience. Effective presentation and communication skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment Hybrid work format (3 days in office; 2 days remote). Authentic studio culture that values teamwork, flexibility, and a shared passion for design. Must be able to navigate project sites. Valid driver’s license. English language communication and client interface skills. Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Education Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an NCARB accredited program.
