We are looking for a Hot Oil driver within a 50-mile radius of Rosemount, MN to deliver Hot oil based products in bulk, transport them via Semi-Truck and Trailer, and unload products at various customer locations. The position has a flexible schedule of Monday to Friday and every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Loading products at refineries, and bulk storage facilities.
- Unloading products at numerous customer locations such asphalt plants and roadside jobs.
- Ability to pump on and off products using a Power Take Off.
- Dropping, hooking and connecting trailers to semi-truck. This includes manually raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer with up to 50 pounds of torque resistance.
- Hooking up hoses and fittings to load and unload these products safely and securely.
- Reaching, pulling and pushing hoses weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Climbing up ladder on trailer to check tank and levels and make sure the load is secured.
- The maximum weight the ladder can accommodate is 450 pounds with a 200 pound at the top of the trailer.
- Climbing in and out of Semi-Truck using 3 points of contact.
- Loading appropriate quantities, and correct suppliers on all loads per dispatch instructions.
- General conversations in English with dispatchers, customers, and loaders to accommodate their needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, pulling, grasping
- Climbing, Prolonged sitting
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A - CDL driver’s license with tanker and hazmat endorsement.
- Approved medical card via DOT certified doctor, PA, Chiropractor
- DOT 49 CFR 171-180 formerly HM-126 training
- No Slip-seating; assigned equipment
- Late model Peterbilt's with 13 speeds
- Annual Average Salary: 80k – 100k
- Mileage based pay.
- Additional pay for loading/unloading/stops, etc.
