Key Responsibilities

• Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using standardized tests and observational measures.
• IEP Development: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and educational goals.
• Direct Therapy: Provide engaging and effective therapeutic interventions for students in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school administration to ensure comprehensive care and carryover of skills into the classroom.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records of evaluations, progress notes, and IEP documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Arkansas.
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Experience: Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
