Overnight Availability This role requires the ability to occasionally work overnight. While schedules are subject to change based on business needs, overnight shifts are generally 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM . What You'll Do As a member of our Uniformed Services team, you'll create a warm, seamless, and personalized arrival and departure experience for our guests. You'll assist with luggage, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their stay.
- Promptly, safely, and courteously transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms. Secure, tag, and store luggage at the guest's request.
- Escort arriving guests to their guest rooms and provide a personalized orientation, including an overview of room features, in-room amenities, hotel services, and other relevant information to ensure they are comfortable and familiar with their accommodations.
- Welcome and assist guests while providing knowledgeable information about hotel amenities, facilities, outlets, services, local attractions, and activities.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and discretion, using sound judgment and taking ownership of resolving issues whenever possible.
- When assigned as a Door Attendant , remain stationed at the hotel entrance to welcome arriving guests and assist departing guests with luggage, including loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
- Escalate significant concerns, complaints, disturbances, or instances involving dissatisfied guests to management promptly.
- Promote teamwork and consistently deliver exceptional service through effective communication and coordination with other hotel departments.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-presented hotel entrance and surrounding areas by regularly inspecting for and removing litter and debris.
- Perform additional duties and respond to special requests as assigned, including but not limited to:
- Accepting and securely storing guest dry cleaning for pickup by the dry-cleaning service.
- Delivering clean laundry, guest mail and messages, and sundry items to guest rooms.
- Delivering boxes and packages at the direction of hotel guests or clients.
- Assisting with other guest requests and special services as needed.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a high-touch, guest-focused role , preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Additional language skills are highly preferred.
- A polished, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.
- The ability to anticipate guest needs, exercise good judgment, and create positive guest experiences.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service.
- Remain standing and active for extended periods, up to 100% of the work shift .
- Regularly carry, push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 100 pounds .
- Frequently handle luggage, boxes, packages, and other guest items.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and perform other physical movements associated with the role.
- Read, write, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in order to complete departmental records, logs, tags, signage, maps, and other materials.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnight shifts, holidays, and other times as required by business needs .
