Radiologic Technologist

Sign-On Bonus: 15000 sign-on bonus (10000 for new graduates) provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements. Relocation Assistance: 5000 Relocation Assistance for qualified candidates. Location: Greensboro NC. Shift Schedule: Full Time Days No Weekends or Holidays.

You’ll Need:

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.

Essential Functions:

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages culture developmental stages and special needs of the patient population served.
