Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager – Construction Assist the Project Manager with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation . Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management , identifying potential delays or cost issues. Attend and lead project meetings , prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on outstanding action items. Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to help identify design conflicts, scope gaps, and constructability concerns . Support the Superintendent and Project Manager with quality control, safety, inspections, closeout, and turnover activities . Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders while ensuring work is completed in accordance with contract requirements, safety standards, schedule, and quality expectations . Ideal Background: 3+ years of experience in commercial construction as a Project Engineer, APM, or similar role. Experience with ground-up construction, multifamily, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, or other large-scale projects preferred. Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project financials. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
