Our client is currently seeking a Surgical Technologist Sr. Schedule- Mon- Friday: 6:30 - 03:00 Central Time
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team.
The CST is responsible for preparing surgical instruments, maintaining sterile technique, assisting during procedures, and ensuring proper instrument decontamination and room turnover.
This position provides care for patients across all age groups, including Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities

The CST is responsible for preparing surgical instruments, maintaining sterile technique, assisting during procedures, and ensuring proper instrument decontamination and room turnover.
This position provides care for patients across all age groups, including Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures.
- Scrub and assist surgeons during surgical cases by anticipating procedural needs.
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
- Perform instrument counts and ensure surgical instruments are functioning properly.
- Assist with patient positioning and operating room setup.
- Complete room turnover efficiently between procedures.
- Clean, decontaminate, and prepare instruments for sterilization.
- Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and other surgical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Contribute to the orientation and training of new Surgical Technologists.
- Support quality and safety initiatives within the ASC environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care needs across all populations served.
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology Program
- Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Required
- Current CPR Certification
