Provides direct supervision over an assigned shift.ResponsibilitiesOversees and ensures proper production planning and scheduling are carried out during the assigned shift.Monitors and addresses activities to prevent deviations from production schedules.Balance the level of labor cost and machine requirements during assigned shift.Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.Oversee routine housekeeping as required.Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Manager.Assist in related department activities and perform related duties, as required.ScheduleMonday-Friday3:30pm-12:00amFlexibility is a must - schedule is subject to change based on production needsQualificationsComprehensive knowledge of product productionStrong leadership skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work with minimum supervision - self starterStrong interpersonal skillsGraduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training.Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment.Physical DemandsPosition may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
