Compensation Consultant

Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for a Compensation Consultant for a 6+ month project , hybrid and based in Auburn MA . This role will play a key part in evaluating, standardizing, and rewriting a large volume of job descriptions as part of a major organizational project. Pay Rate: $60–$70/hour (based on experience) Duration: 6+ months, with potential extension Schedule: Now through June: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday), 3 days remote Starting July: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Key Responsibilities Lead and support a large-scale job evaluation and job description development project across the organization Review, analyze, and rewrite job descriptions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with compensation frameworks Partner with HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts to gather role information and validate job content Apply job architecture, leveling, and compensation principles to ensure internal equity and market alignment Ensure job documentation meets compliance, regulatory, and internal governance standards Provide guidance and recommendations on role scope, job leveling, and classification Manage deliverables and timelines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in compensation, job architecture, or total rewards Proven experience leading or supporting large-volume job description projects Strong background in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical manufacturing, chemical, or life sciences is a plus Deep knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, job leveling, and compensation structures Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Excellent written communication skills with a strong attention to detail Familiarity with HRIS and job documentation tools Why This Role?
