Job description: Our company is now hiring experienced Concierge / Sales Representative to work for Cirque du Soleil in Oaks, PA. Cirque du Soleil is a major Quebec-based organization providing high-quality artistic entertainment. Shifts will be within the following times and may vary: 11‑hour shifts may be required Saturday – 1.30pm‑10pm Sunday – 11am‑8pm Primary responsibility Have up‑sell and sales experience; Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate; Collect payments, whether in cash or credit; Cross‑sell products and introduce new ones; Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information; Greet customers when entering or leaving the merchandise area; Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas; Bag, box or gift‑wrap packages; Handle merchandise returns and exchanges; (Sales Hawker): Assertive and competent selling of concession products around the front‑of‑site and inside the big top; The ideal candidate will Possess the ability to learn a point‑of‑sale system and retain the information; Be comfortable working in a loud environment; Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos); Be physically able to stand up for long hours; Understand customer service and hospitality; Work well with others; Pay attention to the details; Working fast and efficiently under pressure; Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings); Know when to get the help of a supervisor; Availability for the whole city duration; Speak English Mandatory – other languages are an asset; Physical Demands: This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours. May also lift up to 50 lbs.
