Pharmacist in Worcester, MA

A position is available for a Pharmacist in a large hospital setting serving a 300+ bed facility. This contract-to-hire role offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates and experienced pharmacists alike, focusing primarily on inpatient pharmacy responsibilities.


Location: Worcester, MA area (near Boston)

Schedule: Primarily night shifts, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks minimum, with potential to transition to permanent employment


Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify inpatient medication orders accurately and promptly
• Provide pharmaceutical care and advice to healthcare teams and patients
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in medication safety and quality assurance initiatives
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply
