LPN - Day Shift

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a LPN to join the team. We currently have an opening for Day shift 7am-7pm. The LPN is responsible for the provision of rehabilitative nursing care for assigned patients as planned and coordinated by the RN and as patient needs are identified. Follows up to ensure appropriate standards of care are provided.

Responsibilities:

• Transdisciplinary Care
• Assessment, Planning and Implementation under direction of RN
• Education and Patient Teaching
• Leadership and Professionalism
• Medication Administration
• Documentation
• Assuring Quality of Care
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1 year of experience as a LPN is preferred

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an approved LPN program required.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse, in good standing
• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
• Furthering education as RN preferred
